Caps v Sheffield Steelers tonight. Big budget (them) versus micro budget. 3rd in the league (them) against 9th. 

Caps looked out of touch and scrappy in the 1st period. They did well to finish only 0-2 behind (chapeau Hiadlovsky in goal... again).  

Period 2 was more even - looked like Sheffield relaxed a bit - but finished still on 0-2.

Caps exploded in the final period and got back to 2-2. They had the momentum, but couldn't get a winner. 

Caps started the sudden death overtime with a man advantage, but couldn't do anything with it. Sheffield got back to full strength and popped in the winner.

Caps got a point for the overtime loss. Steelers went home with 2.

The Blip is Emmerson and Jarolin about to go onto the ice at the start of the game. Both played well.
