Another day goes by

@dragonsrugby v @ExeterChiefs

Today was very cold but the sun was shining, perfect day for rugby. Exeter Chiefs were the Dragons opponents today in the third round of the LV Cup.

The Chiefs are doing very well in the English Prem, so this was going to be a tough ask. As expected they piled on pressure and took control of the match. With 2 tries on the first half and another early on in the second it looked like one way traffic.

Dragons looked hard at the themselves, made a few changes on the field and said enough is enough. The tables started to turn, the Dragons dug deep and forced a first try.

Exeter were having none of it and within 10 mins they struck back with another try (number 4) but that wasn't the last word. Dragons some how regrouped and score 2 tries of there own, where did that come from? The crowd were on their feet chanting Dragons, Dragons, Dragons and they finally silenced the Boom Boom Boom of the Chiefs drum.

Exeter had a few minutes to strike and stop the rot and strike they did. They found themselves near the Dragons line and gave everything. Eventually the inevitable happened, a penalty try, an easy conversion.

Surely there was no time for more, well yes there was. More pressure from the Dragons lead to the last word from them with a try in the corner and a difficult conversion slotted over. A loss, but a great effort from the Dragons.

Final score: Dragons 32 Exeter Chiefs 37
