The life & times of Jacks

Niamh!

We headed home this weekend to do some wedding chores.  We met with our humanist celebrant who was a lovely lady but did give us quite the "To Do" list which Steve and I are in  tizz about.

Afterwards we met with Jo & family and Sam and her husband.  The girls headed into one of the bridesmaids shops where Sam and Jo got measured for their dresses and that was ordered - just need to get the other two done soon.

We then went for some nice lunch at Blackfriars - a bar I don't think I have been to since New Years eve somewhere in the early early 2000s and the place has changed significantly.

After lunch we headed back to Jo's stopping off at a park to give the kids a run around - It was particularly cold so thankfully not for long.  Niamh was loving the swings and she was giggling excitedly as her dad pushed her on them.  Aidan was more into the larger swings which Steve pushed him on.

Afterwards my parents joined us at Jo's house where we had Chinese food, some prosecco and some lovely cake to say Happy Birthday to Steve and I.   Once they left we watched "The Interview" - really enjoyed that movie although the humour is incredibly dark.  Jo and I then relived memories of watching the movie Highlander non stop as kids while we giggled reciting lines from the movie much to Steve and Stew's frustration.

All in all a fab day and I am pleased we managed to fit so much in.
