Cutting Wood

Spent an hour or two cutting up logs for my father's heating today as he's still feeling a bit rough after last weekend's events. He normally insists on doing it himself though, but I have to wonder how many other 88 year olds still cut their own wood with a chainsaw and a chop-saw every couple of days.

I have to say though that it's a lot easier now than it used to be when I was a kid, as all we had back then were hand-saws and an old belt-driven bench saw. Modern tools are good.
