a tree has such majestic characteristics both in life & death.
Each of the lines that create the beautiful texture represent a year lived, towering amongst its peers, protecting life around it & reminding us just how delicate life can be....

Is it ironic, hap chance or deliberate that in life we use the ring to represent a life together....


But for now, it sits in a a home-made foil tray, soaking up some oil to avoid its demise from drying out too fast.
