Feeling blue....

Sorting, planting and pottering round the garden on a beautiful May evening is good for the soul.

These are our blue poppies, planted 3 years ago we have had little success with them. Last year one large, stunning bloom appeared just before the gales, they gave up after that!

We are enjoying watching these ones emerge tentatively, and doing our best to stop a certain spaniel charging over the top of them.
