Poplar Tree Surgery

Andy Murray stopped me going to the supermarket yesterday, so I had to go this morning and was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was.

Last Tango in Halifax came to an end last night.  It's as though you are eavesdropping someone else's conversations with such brilliant acting.  I hope there will be another series.  

Another bitterly cold day but that didn't stop the tree surgeons who are having to reduce the height of some of the local poplar trees.  Interesting to watch them in action.  I thought it would make a good entry for Mono-Monday. Well it takes spirit to climb those trees.
