Up on the roof

(There's a song title in the caption, but I can't get the link to work? Grrrrr)

This little Pied Wagtail and his mate/colleague were happily advancing on someone’s left over lunch on the pavement when they were startled by shoppers walking right by them so just as I was poised for a nice shot …….  they flew up on the roof of the Town Hall, probably hoping to float down later to finish their meal, but too late for me, it was 2 o’clock already. 

(All work and no play, makes Jack (Jill in my case) a dull boy)!
