Are They Really Necessary?

I understand the current 'terrorist' threat is based on 'lone wolves' seeking to make a 'statement' (Or something like that) but is it really necessary to have such heavily armed police at Euston station?

I mean its not likely that they're going to *actually* start shooting in such a confined space; is it?

Or perhaps they're just getting used to the layout ready for a whole pile of irate passengers (err sorry customers) in two weeks time when Network Rail carry out some major engineering works? (Just a thought).
