Faster than a speeding bullet

It is incredibly difficult to get a picture of Caley coming towards you. Even as you watch him and anticipate that point when he will surge briefly in to focus  -oh you can forget all about that 3D focus tracking nonsense in the camera instruction book-, by the time the shutter clicks he is already 10 paces behind you. Given the failing evening light I was yet again relying on the flash so continuous shooting wasn't an option.
I'm on site tomorrow so my blip will almost certainly not be of a dog.
