We had 8 hours between flights and we thought we would make the most of it by catching the express train into Tokyo city.

The train brought us out in the business district near the imperial palace, which was unfortunately closed, so we walked around the gardens before stopping for a bite to in in a popular upstairs working lunch cafe.
