Niki at the Grand Palais

At midday we visited the exhibition of Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) at the Grand Palais in Paris.  She was an ultramodern feminist artist, self-taught, who developed a vivid, colorful style totally her own, from the 1960's to 2000. Her works are mostly sculptural, ranging from small to enormous. It was a wonderful show; this image shows the "Tree of Life" displayed at the entrance to the exhibition.
