Heat!

Suzi is the only one out of my 3 cats that has worked out that heat comes from the radiator.

Sometimes she sits on the back of the sofa to get closer to the heat source, then, when she falls asleep she invariably falls OFF the sofa with an undignified squeak.

Recently she's taken to actually lying ON the radiator itself, sometimes shuffling around because of her hot paws.

She's determined, I'll give you that.
