Now & Then

1 September 1967, the day of our wedding at East Sheen Registry Office. My mini dress I made from Liberty silk and wore a flower in my hair, not visible in the photo. My wedding ring was platinum and came from a Pawn shop in Pink Lane, Newcastle. This ring I later mislaid down a waste disposal unit in our apartment in Montreal, Canada, to be replaced by a similar ring, obsolete because of the divorce of one of Dave's colleagues, no longer needed.

Things that I know now that I wished I had known then: that I would be obliged to listen to every one of Bob Dylan's albums played non stop from that day till this.
