Pegasus Bay

First stop of the day was Pegasus Bay winery, we did try one before here but it felt a little corporate, so drove on a little and found this gem. The garden and building were stunning, lots of little japenese style red bridges connecting up the ponds. The staff here were down to earth and friendly and we enjoyed tasting lots of wine and brought a bottle.

Afterwards we powered on through Christchurch until we reached Akaroa, first bit of rain in a while whilst driving but still passed loads of old classic cars on the road, it's always a surprise! The views in were stunning and the town very curt, It's a little french styled place . We booked a dolphin cruise for the next day, I've seen them swimming out at sea but never up close... Then we had a nice drive over to the other side and found a chilled campsite amongst the trees with a beach view. Two more days left!
