Boom! We did it all in one action packed day... Landed really early then went to the Opera House, Botanical Gardens (all kinds of weird and wonderful trees and birds), up the Sky Tower for panoramic views and then got a surprise cruise around the harbour on a yacht! Simone worked there for six months many years ago, we bumped into the owner and he let us sail around for free, I've not been on a small yacht before so the dramatic tilting was quite a surprise. Amazing views of the city from the water. Then we had a quick coffee with a friend, hopped on a double decker train and back onto another flight to Beijing, whoosh.
