Walking on water

The spur of canal that goes into Ellesmere itself is frozen at the moment and the ducks all seem a little disgruntled about it despite the fact they only have to move 100m or so to find clear water. The fact it looks like they are walking on water was rather strange and that added to the red brick of the wharf builidng behind gives it a nice surreal feel.
