Non-violence as the way to lasting peace

On my way home from work I pass the marvellous statue of Gandi outside the Wellington train station.

At a time when injustice, wrong and harm is increasingly resulting in rally calls for brutal and inhumane responses to anyone who may be ‘suspected’,  it’s good to see Mahatma Gandhi, and be reminded of a better way.

The ‘ends' can never by used to justify any ‘means’.
