Dad and granddad

Today I photographed an old family photo. It was taken in 1912 when my dad was 4 years old. He is on the dray, helping his father.
His dad - my grandfather and a man I never met, is the guy on the far left, hand on hip. He died when I was about 3. This photo of the workmen was taken on grandfather's market garden property at Verdun in the Adelaide Hills.
It is interesting to note that they are all wearing hats.
