On The Go

Due to the room were were allocated being noisy with stairs nearby and also some machinery situated outside the window making a continual humming noise, managed to get it changed to a bigger, quieter one at the back of the hotel, very happy with it :-)

After breakfast we wandered down to the tube station and caught the Piccadilly line to Leicester Square, to join the line at the box office for a cheap ticket to one of the shows.  We got tickets for Memphis, which I initially thought was about Elvis, and thought that we would be singing along to some of his hits, but it wasn't!.  It starred Beverley Knight, a very underrated singer in my opinion,  She was marvellous.  Wandered around Covent Garden, coffee stop, in Nero then did a brief shop for presents.  Started to rain so we decided to go back our way and drop into the V & A for a while.

As we approached this girl caught my eye.  Well why wouldn't she!  I loved her quirkiness, esp the parrot on her shoulder.  She also had a handbag in the shape of a fish.  Loved it :-)

On our wanders we had spied a Lebanese restaurant and decided to try the food there.  It was amazing.  Chose a Meze and it was so tasty....

Tube ride to Leiceser Square later and very much enjoyed the show.  Had  a wander after it came out through Chinatown and Piccadilly Circus, along with the crowds emptying from every other theatre in the vicinity.  The tube station was an experience,  heaving!
