A lick of white paint

The hoarding around the Archway Tower scaffolding was originally painted black. This formed a rather gloomy tunnel when you walked out of the tube on to Junction Road.  Tonight I came out of the tube to find that they were repainting it white which certainly brightens things up a bit.

I actually wouldn't have come out of the tube at all this evening if it hadn't been for the bus strike.  I normally go to college in Marylebone Road by bus but today I decided the tube would be more reliable - even though there were quite a lot of buses running including plenty of 30s which I caught between Warren St and Baker St both ways.
