That sort of day

Rain and wind. The rain took a break around midday so I took the opportunity to do a few things outside. One was to start cleaning out the birdhouses ready for new occupants this spring. 

The rain came back. So as we have two of our kids coming for the weekend - a birthday weekend at that - we started some preparation. I made the bread but Mrs G went into full mothering mode and began preparing a number of treats for the weekend ahead. Even if her efforts aren't appreciated, Mrs G enjoys the chance to spoil the grown up kids.
