Photographic Poeticisms

Pamela's Blossom

The white May blossom
Garlands now the hawthorn
And flowers bright
Do all its branches adorn

This spectacle of Spring
In its past has awoken
Joyous thoughts of days
Long, of sunshine, unbroken

And so shall I still
See this scene as celebration
And treat all who it deride
With taciturn indignation

For now it will not only be
A sign of future pleasure
But also a wonderful association
With someone I will forever treasure

So now when this beauty appears
And I pause to capture it on camera
I shall smile with joy as I think
Of a dear lady named Pamela
