Art class

I decided to take a night class to learn something new. I've always been interested in art and I have a B.A. in marketing. I signed up for an art class, Intro to Advertising and Graphic Design. We've had 4 classes now and our first assignment is on negative/positive space. We have to choose 3 objects from a list and draw 4 thumbnails of each object in different positions. Afterwards, we have to trace and fill in with black sharpie. This is the start of my assignment.
