Dover: NE gale force 8 increasing 9 imminent

A rapid reblip as the tide reached full at 12.30.

An early blip because chums are arriving from Sheffield for a manfest. This is the Sand Fulmar, a 'trailing hopper suction dredge,' off St Margaret's Bay dredging sand and gravel from the Goodwin Sands for construction work in London. This now on my blog.

The wind is bitter and constant - from the NE it just seems to howl relentlessly. Feels like temp is -5 and not getting above -4 all day.
