Volunteer in the Log pile

Before we got a huge bonfire lit it was rather chilly in the woods of Osborne House, we were even working in a snow shower.

Whilst unsuitable material is burnt in our fires much of the timber from the felled trees is put to good use around the estate and gardens. 

These cut logs will be used in the gardens and for wood burning fires. One of the volunteers can be seen here checking the stability of the log pile.
