The First Crocus

This morning I visited our daughter who was making tomato soup. I was invited to stay for some but declined, then later when I tasted it I wished I had stayed for lunch.

It has been a dry day with some sunshine. Although only one workman was here today, good progress has been made on internal window frames.

Today’s picture is of the first Crocus to appear in the garden in one of the front borders. The Crocus seem to be late this year and not many have pushed through the earth; too cold perhaps.
