A guest appearance...

...in York today.

I was trying out a new lens I had just bought in York, photographing a Marching Military Band commemorating the Queen's Accession to the Throne 63 years ago. My final shot was going to be the band marching away, emphasising their bright red hats.

Suddenly another subject popped into view and the contrasts were too good to miss.
