A nice surprise

One of the joys of posting these blips a year in arrears is that I'm coming across the occasional good shot that I'd almost completely forgotten.

This rather handsome dragonfly was buzzing around the swimming pool at Kingfisher Lodge hence the turquoise background which I think works rather well.

I've tried to ID the species but without success so far
