For the Fallen

Every evening the Ode of Remembrance is sung in Te Reo Maori - it's absolutely beautiful sung by these wonderful women who come every night to the Ceremony.
It is from Laurence Binyon's  famous poem For The Fallen which he wrote in 1914.

They shall not grow old
As we that are left grow old,
Nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.
We will remember them - parade response.
The Ode is still said nightly in many Returned Service Cubs at 7pm after a minutes silence.........and of course is part of the Anzac Day ceremony also.
