The conductor

Caught the train with colleagues this afternoon, having spent the day in Edinburgh.

The conductor was a man who has worked the line for years.  He's a severe looking guy who obviously enjoys engaging with passengers, albeit on his terms.  He gleefully informed us that whilst many of his colleagues don't implement the rules, he does.  Cheery.

We breathed a sigh of relief as he moved on to his next set of victims customers, only to discover his ticket clipper had left an altogether more friendly impact.  I knew right there and then it would have to be blipped!
