Everyday I Write The Book

The Lush Way

The complete existential theory of weather demands that you assess ambient temperature, humidity, environmental exposure and wind direction; human factors such as whether you have had breakfast or not, body fat, mobility and dress sense; and psychological factors such as emotional state, focus, personal resilience, and attitude.

Anyway it was bloody cold today but we had to go out, so I wrapped up warm like Kurt Russell fighting aliens in the arctic whereas TSM dressed like a Geordi Lass on a night out (by which I mean she wore a couple of layers of thin clothes - not a micro skirt and high heels). We were taking the car to an industrial estate on one of the many hills around Guildford to have a new windscreen fitted, which was fun, seeing as Autoglass had closed their reception area so that you could freeze your knackers off whilst you waited.

Fortunately we had anticipated this possibility and taken two cars, so whilst a strange unshaven young man was muttering about his PDA malfunctioning (who the hell calls a mobile device a PDA anymore anyway?) and doing the job, we were sitting in Guildford  All Bar One eating the Big Boost Breakfast with a side order of hash browns and a decent Americano. That will save me eating again until Thursday; seriously big portions, and an  absolutely lovely waitress. Highly recommended.

Next on to Lush where TSM stocked up with hair products. Another lovely person here, a shop assistant who had dressed to promote their Unicorn Horn Valentine's Day products. Made for a pretty gorgeous and fun  picture.

Now to watch Spurs versus Arsenal. Come On You Reds! ....
