Saturns Rings or Mars........

No, it is our sun setting over the Indian Ocean at Redgate Beach, Margaret River.

We knew it would be an unusual sunset today because there was a band of smoke hanging over the ocean which had been blown there from a bushfire many kilometres away caused by lightning.

The sun was like a huge ball of molten hot pink glass. It looked very surreal and quite alien.

More shots as the sun sunk lower until it disappeared.

All of the fotos I took reminded me of paintings on surfie vans of the 60's!
