Busy River ...

The river has been very busy today with both wildfowl and rowers. I've noticed the ducks congregating for the past couple of weeks. Maybe they're getting ready for spring nesting. Seems a bit early in the year to me.

There were plenty of boats out too. In fact it looked like a first lesson for some people as the boats were going in eccentric directions and there was a lot of squealing and good humour. Lovely to see people out enjoying the day.

It's been a cracking day too. Started off very misty and a bit spooky but the sun soon burst through.
