Bryophyte bouquet

This is a wonderful time of the year to be looking at mosses and liverworts. They are so fresh and green when most other vegetation is looking brown and drab. Here we have the liverwort Plagiochila asplenoides and the moss Rhytidiadelphus triquetrus growing together at the nature reserve. If these fronds were 10x the size I'm sure we would use them in bouquets for Valentine's Day.
