drenched in scent

The sumptuous purple petals of the hyacinths BAT gave me for my birthday.  The scent is divine. I added the droplets for effect.

Another dry cold day, I went to the Farmer's Market this morning then had an enjoyable day at home catching up with chores, breadmaking and so on. 

The renovation work is flying on. The new partition wall is in and one room is completely plastered and will be dry enough to start painting next week.
