Rosebank Sunset

We have been helping J's Mum with reorganising an upstairs room in Rosebank which has been a bit neglected . Lots of sorting through old books, papers, boxes of bits and pieces and games. We were preparing for a big family gathering next weekend .
Lots of J's Dad's possessions and paintings were stored there. Some things Sheila had never seen before . One book I was delighted to find - a beautiful old illustrated copy of Lao Tsu's Tao Te Ching.
A day of cleaning , discarding , rediscovering and moving boxes to the garage and then we enjoyed finding a space for a rather lovely still life painting of yellow roses and hanging it by the dining room door.
Lots of memories .
I hope she is happy with the room in its cleared out state and that she sleeps well.
This photo was taken from the garden . It was a spectacular sunset.
