#10 El Nevado.

Phew. It's been a busy time so far! All my school projects have taken all my time, and I couldn't be happier about it.

When my mom retired she told me that sometimes, retired people gets depressed due to the change on their schedule, the friends they don't see and the things they don't do anymore; I remember telling her that if I ever got retired, I would probably be the happiest woman in town.

However, it's been only two months since my last day at my English school, and before classes at University started again I really didn't know what to do with all the time I had in my hands. I do remember thinking:  "If I only hadn't convinced Cristian (my best friend) to enroll in the school, we could go out and get some pizza!"

Melancholy hit me, and it hit me real hard this time! Back in my English school I was with two groups, each of them with wonderful people I have the luck to call my friends, and I spent almost two years going to class on a daily basis. So in my free time, I couldn't help but thinking about all the fun I had in that place!

So, in conclusion: I'll have to find something fun to do once I get retired to avoid falling in what my mom calls "la chochés." (The period in life when you can't do nothing except standing, and you'll probably get a backache for doing it...)

And moving to the picture: yesterday I had the chance to visit "El Nevado de Colima." Almost everyone call it a volcano, but it is not! The actual volcano it's behind the Nevado, and scarily enough is currently active!

Overall it was a great experience, all my classmates were there and also two Canadian researchers; one of them will be one of our teachers for the rest of the semester! I'm glad they went with us, they're really, really nice.
Also, we had a snow balls battle... they were way better than us.

I'm specially bad at aiming.

P.S. I have a friend who's from Kentucky, he once said he doesn't particularly enjoy snowy days; I told him I wish it snowed in my town because I had never seen snow, and because I like cold weather. He was like: are you serious? You should go to my town and bury your face in some snow then!

I did bury my face in snow. And it was wonderful! :)
