Hints of Spring

The host that Wordsworth loved the most
with blaring yellow trumpet call
delights me through and through.

Yet, clustering with hints of spring, in quieter style,
the modest snowdrop
softens winter, too.

This is my fifth spring in Blipland, and in all those years, I've only managed to avoid blipping snowdrops one year. They're irresistible! Oh, though I did photograph the long-tailed tits again this morning - they were back on the nuts. Woo-hoo! Lovely sunshine to set us firmly in holiday mood; cases packed, ready for the off tomorrow!
