#40 Challenges

On of my forty challenges is to try Clay Pigeon Shooting. Rather than do it alone, I decided to surprise Mum and Dad and take them with me to try it out as a family. We headed out to Cockett's Farm near Ollerton, met our tutor, Ken, and spent 90 minutes learning how to shoot clays...or, in my case, how to spectacularly miss most of them!! Dad was great, a real pro, I think he should go back and do it again once they live here. I'll stick to taking photos and drinking coffee!

In the evening I surprised them by tracking down and inviting to dinner old friends from 30 years ago. I cooked a three course meal and they all nattered like the good old days.
