Just Charming.....

An extra visit to Chester Zoo today. I took and friend and work colleague, as we were very keen to see some new arrivals. We weren't disappointed, well, except for the Sumatran tiger cubs. They just didn't want to come out and play.

But the baby which stole the show was the black rhino, Fara, who was making her first outing. She was born on 31st January. Unfortunately my photos of here weren't that good. She was so tiny compared with her mum. And the new Rothschild giraffe, Zahra, was quite taken with what she could do with her neck!

But this curious little antelope, a Sitatunga, has just edged into first place for my blip today. They're a swamp dwelling antelope, so were quite at home squelching through the mud.
