This is not a sword

Today was Teacher Appreciation Day at school, where the PTA cook up a slap-up breakfast for all the staff and the children appear later in the morning with flowers and cards and gifts. It really is a lovely thing, and the breakfast was downright amazing. There was a moment of hilarity when the lad I work with appeared at the door, his mother coaxing him to say good morning and gift us the flowers while he was faaaar more interested in trying to use them to swordfight one of his friends... and why not! Very grateful today to work in such a great place with such wonderful people.
