May I Take Your Order Please

Tonight Gina and I attended a concert by the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra.  We decided to have dinner at a nearby Jamaican restaurant prior to the concert.  We neglected to take into consideration the significance of "Island Time", thinking that one hour was a sufficient amount of time to eat,and get to the concert location, etc.

After an 65 minutes, with only a beer and soup being served we asked to 'take away' the food and have it later.  In fairness to the restaurant, they were overwhelmed by a large group of non-speakers (they used sign language), and a new waitress with only 3 days experience.

The concert was a Bach Fest, but also included a performance of the Haydn Trumpet Concerto, well played by both the young soloist and orchestra.
