Square (tiles)

Don't you just love colorful tiles?  So many places in the world make fabulous tiles…. on the left is a reproduction (scaled down)  of 17th C. Portuguese tiles—the tiled buildings there are incredible!… On the right is a gorgeous tulip tile from Turkey, (Did you know tulips originated in Turkey?) There is a touristy Italian “Manerola, Cinque Terra," tile on this window ledge along with some terra cotta mexican and hand painted tiles.   There is a bigger collection at the island but Im here, not there, and looking for “Square’ for today — (7 different sizes here) for the blip challenge….this will have to do...

Went to a wonderful lecture this afternoon on the upcoming opera in Seattle,  Handel's Semele.
