Last session in the Gompa

Here's where I've been spending a lot of my time for the past ten days - the Chenrezig Gompa (meditation hall) at Kopan Monastery, just to the north of Kathmandu city. At the front is Joan, a Buddhist nun, originally from Canada, who has been our main teacher. We were a group of about 100, from all around the world, all ages, all backgrounds, all looking for a bit of guidance on how to live our lives in this crazy world. Some seeking to embrace Buddhism, others of us simply interested to learn what insights it can offer us.

More to come in backblips.
