Today, Grange-over-Cloud and Mist.

Attended a funeral today. A big one with hundreds of people there in a big church where the fire regulations were suspended to allow large numbers to stand lining the side and the back spaces.

My old friend would I think have been pleased to know that before going to wish him a safe journey to wherever he wishes to go, there was time for a quick climb up Arnside Knott where at 08.15 the views were worth the effort.
Cloud inversion filled the estuary with mist and gave a different view of Grange. Within ten minutes the mist had rolled up and covered the Knott providing more opportunities for shots of sun through the mist and trees.
