This is my first attempt at Double Exposure Photography, so be nice! :)

Double Exposure is a technique whereby, in analogue terms, the film is exposed twice to two different images. The final photo will therefore have two superimposed images one on top of the other. Here are some stunning examples and tutorials if you feel like trying it out yourself:

The same process in digital is a lot more simpler - two images are placed on top of each other in a suitable photo editor and then blended using various layer styles. This image has been produced using the latter, of course.

The first image is of a female statue I took a while back, whilst the second 'exposure' is of a pine tree (?) branch from today. You can just about see the remnants of this exposure in the top right and bottom left of the final image.

I liked how the double exposure makes it look like the tree is literally growing across and up the statue's body and face! :)
