Waitangi Treaty Grounds

It would be a sin to be near Waitangi, on Waitangi Anniversary weekend, and not visit the treaty grounds. The plan was to cycle from Kerikeri but after an hour of hills and stones, making for difficult balancing for a novice cycler such as myself, we decided to drive instead.

The treaty grounds are well worth a visit as the museum and story is incredibly interesting and, if nothing else, the view is wonderfully captivating.
