Kennetpans

A day of arranging wheels to be fixed; MOTs and servicing car and bike. Would do most of that myself, but I've a few days off and with settled weather forecast I'm happier to pass on that, and spend them out and about.

SInce I was last down here at the old whisky distillery (really old, first commercial one in Scotland) it's been announced that there's to be a couple of years of work scheduled to try and stop it completely disappearing. It's really dilapidated now - held together mostly by ivy - and it's now fenced off to stop anyone getting inside. No plans to turn it into any flashy visitor attraction, but just enough to allow it to be a bit more accessible and to provide a bit of background to the story of the Scottish Whisky and Irish Whiskey origins.

All that typing 'whisky' has fair put me in the mood now...
