Tracks III

Craiglockhart junction on the former Edinburgh Suburban Circle, or the Edinburgh Sub as it  was locally known. Nowadays the circle is used for freight and stock movement only, apart from the odd diverted passenger service. All stations closed long ago. The tracks to the left go on to Slateford Junction whilst the ones continuing straight go to Haymarket Junction (if memory serves correct). Behind where I stood, the line passes through a tunnel under the road and Union Canal after passing through the site of the former Craiglockhart station. I've been meaning to post a shot of this ever since we moved into Legodude Towers in 2013. Only got round to do so today after handing back our keys to the landlord! Uploading via mobile broadband is a frustrating business...
